Description
This simple yet stunning view of the mountain called Crough (pronounced crow) Patrick is taken between the trees of a 600 year old oak forest. The mountain is often visible from miles around making it a focal point of the area and County. Actually it's profoundly important to Ireland and once a year thousands of Christian pilgrims climb the mount to pay respects to Saint Patrick the patron Saint of Ireland who, it is said, threw all the snakes out of Ireland from the mountain top.
